Law360, New York (April 06, 2010, 2:52 PM ET) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade has confirmed a 216 percent anti-dumping duty rate against Chinese furniture exporter Starcorp Furniture Co. Ltd., a victory for U.S. furniture producers that had pushed the court to impose the trade sanctions.
Judge Leo M. Gordon on Tuesday approved the U.S. Department of Commerce's remand results in the case over objections from Starcorp that the rate was “unconscionable” and based on too little information to be meaningful.
