EU Criticizes China's WTO Challenge Of Shoe Duties

Law360, New York (April 09, 2010, 2:35 PM ET) -- The European Commission on Friday blasted China's request for a World Trade Organization dispute settlement panel examination of European anti-dumping measures against Chinese shoe imports.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce made the request to the WTO late Thursday, saying a European Union policy blocking Chinese-made leather shoes violated the trade body’s rules.
