Law360, New York (May 06, 2010, 5:51 PM ET) -- Hitachi Home Electronics America Inc. has decided to appeal a federal judge's dismissal of the electronics giant's suit claiming it was improperly charged duties on imported flat-screen televisions from Mexico in violation of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
Hitachi filed a notice in the U.S. Court of International Trade on Wednesday — less than a week after the decision was handed down — that it planned to appeal all aspects of the ruling to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
