GPX Duties Case Ruling Should Apply Broadly: Tire Co.

Law360, New York (May 12, 2010, 2:08 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce's decision to offset countervailing duties on GPX International Tire Corp. by the company's anti-dumping cash deposit rate should apply to other companies as well, one of the other plaintiffs in the case argues.

Tianjin United Tire & Rubber International Co. Ltd. filed a motion for leave to file an amended complaint Tuesday in the U.S. Court of International case, in a case addressing the issue of whether applying both anti-dumping and countervailing duties to Chinese companies is unfair.
