DOC Trims Final Duties On Korean Steel Pipe

Law360, New York (June 22, 2010, 7:14 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has issued final anti-dumping duties for South Korean steelmakers, settling on lower rates than those initially calculated for shipments of circular welded nonalloy steel pipe.

On Monday, Commerce's International Trade Administration announced in the Federal Register that the mandatory respondent SeAH Steel Corp. and five other Korean companies sold the steel pipe in the U.S. for less than normal value but reined in the proposed dumping rates after considering reactions to the preliminary calculations.
