Russia, US Resolve Disputes Over WTO Entry

Law360, New York (October 01, 2010, 4:59 PM ET) -- Russia moved closer Friday to its long-held goal of joining the World Trade Organization, as the country's officials said they had resolved outstanding trade disputes with the United States related to Russia's accession into the international body.

Russian Finance Minister Aleksei Kudrin reportedly told national news agencies that Russia and the United States had settled all trade disagreements that have impeded Russia’s membership in the WTO since the breakup of the Soviet Union.
