SEC, DOJ Probing Diebold's Potential FCPA Violations

Law360, New York (October 28, 2010, 7:15 PM ET) -- Diebold Inc. said Thursday that it has received a subpoena from the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission and a request for documents from the U.S. Department of Justice stemming from an internal investigation of potential Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations.

The automated teller and voting machine maker said the requests for information came after the company voluntarily self-reported its initial findings to the SEC and the DOJ.
