Law360, New York (January 03, 2011, 4:28 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has launched an investigation into whether Broadcom Corp., LSI Corp. and a slew of other semiconductor makers infringe Rambus Inc.’s memory controller patents.
The ITC announced Wednesday that it voted in favor of opening a section 337 investigation to find out whether the thirty-odd respondents are making and importing personal computers, Blu-ray disc players and other items that allegedly incorporate Rambus’ intellectual property.
