HTC Seeks New ITC Probe In Apple Patent Battle

Law360, New York (August 17, 2011, 6:51 PM ET) -- HTC Corp. on Tuesday moved to ban the import of some of the Apple Inc.’s most popular products for allegedly infringing three wireless technology patents, a day after suing the iPhone maker in Delaware federal court over the same patents.

On the heels of its Delaware suit, the Taiwanese technology company lodged a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission claiming that imports of a bevy of Apple products, including iPods and Macbooks, infringe its intellectual property rights.
