Ex-WTO Atty Takes Over At PCAOB’s Int’l Affairs Office

Law360, New York (February 01, 2012, 6:19 PM ET) -- The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board has named a former World Trade Organization lawyer as director of its office of international affairs, charged with leading efforts to regulate auditors of foreign companies whose securities trade on U.S. exchanges, the board said Wednesday.

S. Bruce Wilson will begin his service Feb. 6, representing the PCAOB in meetings with governments and regulators as well as directing the board's initiatives to put in place cooperative agreements with the auditing regulatory bodies of other countries.
