Merck Wins Patent Rights Suit Over Singulair Imports

Law360, New York (April 27, 2012, 8:38 PM ET) -- A British court handed a win Friday to Merck Sharp & Dohme Ltd. in its patent infringement suit against Sigma Pharmaceuticals PLC over the asthma medication Singulair, ruling Sigma violated European patent laws by importing the drug from Poland and selling it in the U.K.
