Skadden Nabs Treasury Office Chief Counsel

Law360, New York (May 01, 2012, 3:22 PM ET) -- Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP has bolstered its regulatory and international trade capabilities by adding the former chief counsel for the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control to its Washington, D.C., office, the firm said Monday.

Sean M. Thornton joined Skadden as of counsel after spending more than a decade providing legal advice and support to all of OFAC's regulatory and enforcement activities.
