Law360, New York (May 21, 2012, 7:31 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Defense on Monday issued a rule meant to streamline regulatory control of defense-related exports between the U.S. and the U.K.
The interim rule, which was released Monday but is set to run in a Tuesday Federal Register notice, implements a provision in the Defense Trade Cooperation Treaty, under which the U.S. and the U.K. agreed in 2007 to take steps to increase their coordination in military, counterterrorism and other defense efforts.
