Law360, New York (June 13, 2012, 3:53 PM ET) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration will publish a proposal to ban bisphenol A-based epoxy coating from use on infant formula containers, U.S. Rep. Edward Markey, D-Mass., who is pushing for a ban, said Wednesday.
The FDA has accepted a petition from Markey to revise its BPA regulations and, within 90 business days, will file the petition in the Federal Register, to allow and review any public comments.
