Law360, New York (July 03, 2012, 7:47 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Tuesday issued an affirmative final determination finding that several South Korean companies have been selling large power transformers on the U.S. market at less than fair value and must pay the difference.
Concluding that South Korean producers and exporters sold the products at dumping rates ranging between 15 and 29 percent, Commerce said it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to collect cash deposits or bonds equal to each company's weighted-average dumping margin.
