Indonesia Challenges EU Chemical Duties At WTO

Law360, New York (July 30, 2012, 2:23 PM ET) -- Indonesia filed a challenge with World Trade Organization on Monday over the European Union's decision to impose anti-dumping duties on imports of chemical additives.

Indonesia wants consultations with the EU over concerns that the bloc's anti-dumping duties on fatty alcohols — substances used in industrial chemical production — are inconsistent with WTO restrictions on protective trade measures, according to a statement by the WTO.
