Macau Privacy Regulator Probes Sands China Over Data Transfer

Law360, New York (August 01, 2012, 8:10 PM ET) -- An Asian subsidiary of Las Vegas Sands Corp., the resort empire of billionaire Sheldon Adelson currently embroiled in an employment suit by an ex-CEO who has linked the company to organized crime, announced Wednesday that it is being investigated by a Macau privacy regulator over the potentially illegal transfer of data to the U.S.
