Law360, New York (August 02, 2012, 4:38 PM ET) -- Congress passed legislation on Thursday to enact provisions to promote textile trade with Africa and Latin America as well as renew economic sanctions against Myanmar.
The bills, which passed through the Senate and the House Thursday morning, extend for three years the third-country fabric provision in the African Growth and Opportunity Act, a bill that grants trade preferences to sub-Saharan African countries.
