Law360, New York (August 15, 2012, 1:12 PM ET) -- China will drop anti-dumping duties on shipments of chemical solvent dichloromethane imported from the U.S., Germany, South Korea, the Netherlands and the U.K., it said Tuesday.
The country's Ministry of Commerce announced that domestic producers of dichloromethane, used as a solvent in paint strippers and adhesive removers and as a propellant in aerosol products, didn't provide sufficient evidence that they would be harmed by the imports if the duties were lifted.
