As Russia Joins WTO, House Panel Pushes For Normal Trade

Law360, New York (August 22, 2012, 3:53 PM ET) -- As Russia officially joined the World Trade Organization on Wednesday, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, R-Mich., said he hopes to move forward legislation that would grant the country permanent normal trade relations with the U.S. as early as next month.

The Ways and Means Committee previously approved a bill to normalize trade relations with Russia in late July, but the full House, now in recess, has yet to take it up.
