Law360, San Diego (September 20, 2012, 3:41 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday ruled that a state law barring foie gras producers from selling food products made from the forced feeding of birds could continue to be enforced.
The suit, filed by a group of Canadian and U.S. foie gras producers after the law took effect July 1, argues the rule is unconstitutional and vague because it doesn't provide adequate guidance to farmers on how much food they may feed their birds and because sellers can't determine how much the birds they obtain...
