Law360, New York (September 20, 2012, 6:12 PM ET) -- The Senate Judiciary Committee approved legislation Thursday that would implement two long-stalled treaties designed to help American inventors secure patent protection overseas, sending the Clinton-era pacts to the full Senate.
The committee unanimously reported out S.3486, the Patent Law Treaties Implementation Act, which would finally put into effect two international treaties that were signed by President Bill Clinton and submitted to the Senate by President George W. Bush back in 2007.
