Law360, New York (October 03, 2012, 7:24 PM ET) -- A U.S. International Trade Commission judge on Tuesday signed off on Google Inc. unit Motorola Mobility LLC's unexplained withdrawal of its complaint alleging that Apple Inc.'s iPhone and iPad infringe its patents.
Administrative Law Judge Theodore R. Essex granted Motorola's motion to withdraw the complaint, filed Monday, which did not explain the company's reasoning other than to say that "there are no agreements between Motorola and Apple, written or oral, express or implied, concerning the subject matter of this investigation."
