DC Circ. Nixes Judgment Barring Import Of Elephant Carcasses

Law360, New York (October 05, 2012, 5:52 PM ET) -- The D.C. Circuit on Friday vacated a lower court’s decision that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service properly denied requests from hunters for permits to import corpses of African elephants shot in Zambia into the U.S., saying an administrative appeal of the denial was pending at the time.
