Taiwan Dumped Wire Hangers On US Market, Commerce Finds

Law360, New York (October 15, 2012, 4:32 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce issued a formal notice Monday that wire clothes hangers imported from Taiwan were sold at excessively cheap prices on the domestic market, moving the U.S. a step closer to placing anti-dumping duties on the products.

The decision by Commerce's International Trade Administration — listed Monday in the Federal Register — affirmed its preliminary determination in August that said Taiwanese importers should be subject to duties based on dumping margins of 70 to 125 percent.
