DOE Takes Up Another LNG Export Review For Cheniere

Law360, New York (October 24, 2012, 6:52 PM ET) -- A Cheniere Energy Inc. unit has asked the U.S. Department of Energy for permission to ship liquefied natural gas annually from the Gulf Coast to overseas markets, according to an agency filing Wednesday.

In a Federal Register notice, the DOE said Cheniere Marketing LLC was seeking approval to export domestically produced LNG from a terminal in Corpus Christi, Texas, to countries without free trade agreements with the U.S.
