Law360, New York (October 26, 2012, 2:26 PM ET) -- Google Inc.'s Motorola Mobility Inc. on Thursday asked the U.S. International Trade Commission to drop two patents from its remanded investigation into whether Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox game console violated Motorola's intellectual property.
Motorola filed a motion for the commission to partially terminate the probe as to two patents for the wireless networking, leaving only two patents for digital video technology left in the remanded case. The motion, which the company noted was not the result of a settlement, must still be approved by the ITC....
