French Court Erases Ban On Monsanto GMO Corn

Law360, New York (August 01, 2013, 7:45 PM ET) -- A French court again overturned a ban on genetically modified corn made by Monsanto Co. on Thursday, saying the French government had not demonstrated that it threatened human health or the environment.

The country's top administrative law court, Le Conseil d'Etat, had previously vacated the French agricultural ministry's ban on the corn, known as MON810, in November 2011.
