Law360, New York (November 03, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission will allow the federal government to continue imposing countervailing and anti-dumping duties of up to 252 percent on Chinese imports of thermal paper used in credit card and ATM transactions.
In a final ruling issued Thursday, commissioners voted 6-0 to find that lightweight thermal paper subsidized by the Chinese government and sold at less than fair value in the U.S. posed a material threat to the industry in the U.S.
