Concessions Mark Solvay Settlement

Law360, New York (September 14, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. pharmaceutical unit of Belgian chemicals firm Solvay SA has settled a pair of patent-infringement lawsuits with two generic drug makers over a treatment for low testosterone, or “Low T.”

The settlement puts to rest lawsuits filed in August 2003 against generic drug makers Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. and a partner of Par Pharmaceutical Companies Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
