BTG Sues Apple, Dell Over Samsung Flash Chips

Law360, New York (July 21, 2009, 3:22 PM ET) -- BTG International Inc. has accused several technology giants — including Apple Inc., Dell Inc. and Sony Corp. — of infringing five patents related to flash memory technology by using chips from Samsung Electronics Co., which is facing a separate suit over four of the same patents.

The complaint — filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas — claims that the companies have willfully and deliberately infringed the five patents.
