Law360, New York (July 21, 2009, 10:04 PM ET) -- Whetstone Electronics LLC has resolved its claims against Agfa Corp. in a suit accusing 30 computer printer makers of infringing two patents related to an interface card that allows computers to transmit information about digital images to printers.
The two companies filed a joint motion Monday asking the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas to dismiss Whetstone's infringement claims with prejudice. The parties also seek to drop Agfa's counterclaims that Whetstone's patents are not infringed, invalid and unenforceable.
