Law360, New York (October 05, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- A small yet aggressive Texas patent holding company has shot off a suit against Mitsubishi that accuses it of using sales and marketing tactics on a series of company websites that infringe the holding company's patents.
Orion IP LLC brought the suit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and claimed that Mitsubishi Corp. and Mitsubishi Electric Corp., both Tokyo, Japan-based companies, have violated two of its patents, which Orion has forcefully asserted in recent months.
