Law360, New York (August 06, 2009, 6:53 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has signed off on a settlement between yet another respondent and plaintiffs LSI Corp. and Agere Systems Inc. in a patent infringement battle over semiconductor chips, according to an ITC filing.
Administrative Law Judge Charles C. Charneski issued an initial determination Tuesday terminating an investigation against Hsinchu, Taiwan-based ProMOS Technologies Inc. on the basis of a settlement agreement with chip designer LSI and its subsidiary, Agere.
