Law360, New York (August 07, 2009, 6:47 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has allowed Saxon Innovations Inc. to add Palm Inc.'s Pre cell phone to an infringement action concerning hand-held wireless communication devices.
Judge Robert K. Rogers Jr. denied Palm's request for a protective order seeking to halt the addition in a ruling released on Wednesday, finding that the company would not be prejudiced by adding the product to the investigation.
Saxon is not amending its complaint but merely supplementing its allegations of infringement of U.S. Patent Number 5,530,597, Judge Rogers ruled....
