Law360, New York (October 12, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Chip maker Vishay Intertechnology Inc. has settled yet another patent infringement lawsuit against a smaller rival, this time with Advanced Analogic Technologies Inc., which it sued over a patent for semiconductor transistor technology.
The settlement brings to a close a David versus Goliath lawsuit triggered by Vishay’s Siliconix Inc. subsidiary against its tiny competitor in January 2004 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
