Law360, New York (August 19, 2009, 3:28 PM ET) -- K&L Gates LLP has hired Charles Holland, a patent lawyer and engineer who focuses on renewable energy and clean technology, as a partner in its Palo Alto, Calif., office, the firm announced Wednesday.
Holland, who previously was of counsel at Morrison & Foerster LLP, counsels investors and companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations, K&L Gates said.
His practice includes patent prosecution, portfolio review and strategic advice, noninfringement and invalidity analyses and opinions, due diligence reviews and litigation analysis.
