Law360, New York (September 04, 2009, 1:54 PM ET) -- Federal customs agents have confiscated more than 15,000 pairs of knockoff Gucci shoes worth as much as $3.9 million that were shipped from China to the U.S. under the guise of “home decorations.”
U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Norfolk, Va., said Tuesday it seized the goods on Aug. 25 after customs officers discovered during a routine inspection that the shoes bore a counterfeit trademark.
