Law360, New York (September 10, 2009, 5:47 PM ET) -- Google Inc. has announced that it will allow any book retailer to sell access to out-of-print books being made available through its proposed Google Books virtual library deal.
Google will host the digital books online, and retailers can sell access to users on any Internet-connected device, Chief Legal Officer David Drummond said in a statement released Thursday during a House of Representatives Judiciary Committee hearing on competition and commerce in digital books.
