Law360, New York (September 18, 2009, 1:48 PM ET) -- Texas patent-holding company Traffic Information LLC has struck a deal with Korean cell phone maker Pantech Wireless Inc. in a lawsuit claiming a group of wireless communications companies infringed its patents covering a traffic detection system.
Details of Thursday's settlement, in the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Texas, were not released, and the parties did not comment.
A week ago co-defendant Samsung Telecommunications America LLC settled with Traffic Information in an undisclosed deal.
