Law360, New York (September 23, 2009, 6:02 PM ET) -- Attorney Eric M. Albritton's defamation lawsuit against Cisco Systems Inc. over comments made in the notorious “Patent Troll Tracker” blog has been settled, relieving a jury of the need to rule on the matter.
Albritton, who claimed that a post on the blog caused him mental anguish, shame and embarrassment and harmed his business reputation, reached a confidential settlement with Cisco and its former director of intellectual property, Rick Frenkel, on Monday evening.
