Law360, New York (September 29, 2009, 4:06 PM ET) -- General Electric Co. unit GE Healthcare has asked for sanctions in a suit over a soured deal to acquire MRI technology patents, saying plaintiff MVuInvestors LLC fabricated allegations and should bear some of the costs of the suit.
When its first complaint was dismissed as insufficient, MVu bolstered it with “patently false” accusations, GE Healthcare alleged in a motion for sanctions filed Sept. 28 alongside a summary judgment motion in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
