Law360, New York (October 09, 2009, 6:19 PM ET) -- U.S. Ethernet Innovations LLC, the owner of Ethernet technology developed and sold by 3Com Corp., sued several of the largest technology companies Friday for patent infringement, including Apple Inc., Dell Products LP, Gateway Inc., Hewlett-Packard Development Co. LP, Sony Corp. of America and Toshiba America Inc.

U.S. Ethernet Innovations announced that it sued the computer companies for infringement of its U.S. patents for Ethernet technologies in a statement Friday.

The patents are U.S. Patent Numbers 5,732,094; 5,434,872; 5,307,459; and 5,299,313.
