Law360, New York (October 23, 2009, 6:00 PM ET) -- Innovention Toys LLC has asked a judge to ban Bratz maker MGA Entertainment Inc. and retailers Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Toys R Us Inc. from infringing its patent for a chess-like board game involving laser beams, based on a week-old ruling that the patent is valid and infringed.
The motion, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, seeks a permanent injunction preventing MGA from making or selling its Laser Battle game and barring the two chains from selling the product....
