Class Members Appeal $85M Lufthansa Air Cargo Deal

Law360, New York (November 03, 2009, 6:10 PM ET) -- With the ink barely dry on an $85 million settlement between Lufthansa AG and plaintiffs in the massive multidistrict litigation accusing a host of air cargo shipping service providers of a worldwide price-fixing scheme, two class members have stepped forward to appeal the deal.

Class members Brickman Concerts Inc. and IOD Group LLC filed a notice of appeal Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, indicating their intentions to take their objections over the Lufthansa settlement to the U.S. Court...
