Law360, New York (November 10, 2009, 1:08 PM ET) -- WIAV Networks LLC has dismissed Toshiba America Inc. from a suit that accuses dozens of electronics companies of infringing two patents related to wireless technology.
Judge David Folsom of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas issued an order to dismiss Toshiba from the suit without prejudice Monday following on a Nov. 6 notice of voluntary dismissal filed by WIAV. Neither offered reasons for the dismissal.
Attorneys for WIAV and Toshiba did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the dismissal....
