Law360, New York (November 10, 2009, 4:40 PM ET) -- Foley & Lardner LLP said Tuesday it had boosted its Southern California presence with former Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP intellectual property co-chair Amar Thakur, who joins the firm’s San Diego and Del Mar offices.
Thakur is the ninth intellectual property litigation partner to join the firm since 2008.
“Amar is a much sought after patent litigator, who has represented numerous clients in California, Delaware, New York and Virginia as lead counsel in recent years,” said Stephen Maebius, chair of Foley’s intellectual property department....
