JPMorgan, ACS Resolve Part Of Tech Patent Case

Law360, New York (November 19, 2009, 5:39 PM ET) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. has struck a partial settlement with Affiliated Computer Services Inc. in its patent infringement case over debit card services and check-imaging technology used to process child support payments.

Judge Sue L. Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Wednesday signed off on the companies’ stipulation of a partial dismissal after they entered into a covenant and agreement not to sue over some of the patents-in-suit.
