Law360, New York (February 04, 2010, 2:55 PM ET) -- In early 2010, Intellectual Property Exchange International is reported to become the first financial exchange selling patent licensing rights. Similar to buying units of stocks on the stock market, license rights to patents will be advertised and sold in individual units.

This sounds like a familiar enough system, but not for intellectual property rights. So how will the market accept the sale of units of intellectual property licensing rights? Who will benefit the most from the new system?
