JuxtaComm Sues British Air, Others Over Data Patent

Law360, New York (January 22, 2010, 2:16 PM ET) -- Software company JuxtaComm-Texas Software LLC has accused nearly two dozen companies across a wide range of industries — including British Airways PLC, L'Occitane Inc. and Office Depot Inc. — of infringing a patent for manipulating and exchanging data between computer systems.

The suit, filed on Thursday in the US. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, also targets DataFlux Corp., Red Hat Inc., Ricoh Americas Corp., Rotech Healthcare Inc., and several software and technology companies.
